    i am going to use my Super 8 mainly for taking travel footage, trips to Europe and Middle East, so it is mainly outdoors with some indoor stuff. i want to use black and white also.

    Your best bet would probably be, to use
    Kodachrome 40. It's a very fine grain film,
    with rich colour. Unfortunetly Kodak moved
    it's premium processing for K 40 to Switzerland, which would mean sending your film there. There are places in the u.s. though, that will still do processing for
    K 40, such as Dwayne's Photo.

    Lightbulb

    Kodachrome 40 will do nicely for your daily outside and some inside filming. You won't have to worry about buying a filter for shooting ektachrome. Tri x and plus x comes out really nice for color. Many places that will process black and white. If you take your film to walmart, drop it off in the one of the mailers at the stand, and come back in 2 weeks, your film will be developed. I believe they send it to Dwayne's photo or possibly Fuji labs in Arizona. They do a good job for under 5 bucks a roll. I use it for all my travel footage. The black and white will cost you about 10 bucks a roll.
